Tea, Tarts, and Art!
Marlene Van Helden is a stained-glass artist who also paints on glass and enjoys mixed
media formats. This playful art session is for the light-hearted who want to blend lots of
fun with a take home result. The wine glass painting workshop is popular for those who
want to create a "special" vessel with a group theme. (Other glasses may be used.)
In her lakefront Blue Door Studio, Marlene offers paint time on the second floor, followed
by visiting time with tea? and home-made tarts while your projects dry in the studio.
If the weather is great, the lakefront deck is available. If it rains, the sunroom with its
soaring ceiling is the place to meet.
No experience is necessary, fun is the only option! This workshop is a great birthday gift activity or the results can be created as a gift for someone special. Very relaxing setting--make a day of it by shopping in Gimli first or attending the amazing Arnes Farmer’s Market.
