With renewed energy, Marlene has been experimenting with applying paint on her original-design stained glass pieces.  Whimsical fish and water glass panels are the focus for 2021.  Marlene has also been using collage techniques to embellish her glass works and her mixed-media acrylic paintings.  The isolation of Covid restrictions has lifted the veil of creativity at the Blue Door studio.

Marlene, an intuitive artist, is guided by nature and the majestic views at this lakefront location.

As always, glass artist/neighbour, Gwen Harp, will join Marlene to offer a broad range of art media for visitors.  Two artists at one convenient location!

Coffee and other refreshments will be available during the WAVE Tour.  Everyone can expect a warm welcome with attention to social distancing.

The studio remains open, by appointment, year round.
