When the WAVE, rolls be prepared for a double dose of colour at Mandart Studio North.

Amanda Onchulenko has maintained a full time studio practice in Winnipeg since 2001. She is part of The Fairmont Hotel's Artist in Residence Program with The Pulse Gallery, a Textile Artist, an Author and a Podcast Host.

Each year the Onchulenko's mount an outdoor exhibition of new paintings for WAVE visitors. You'll find the exterior of the cottage and sometimes the side walls too hung with new work in acrylic. This season you will find work in textiles; “The Investment Pieces Project”, in progress in the Bunkhouse, along with greeting cards, small works on paper and Amanda’s book, “Wisdom at the crossroads”.

The cottage drop zone is elevated in 2024 to become "The Lobby" with the addition of CJ TENNANT JEWELLERY's beautiful gemstone creations. Join us to play dress up with the magic of gemstones and explore the garden of art. We are open for your explorations rain or shine.

Amanda is excited to be introducing a brand new offering, THE MINDFUL MOMENTS Affirmation deck. In it you will find 52 colourful cards with actionable prompts to support your self care practice.

This project, many years on the back burner is a miniature art experience for daily use. It is your opportunity to hold art and inspiration in the palm of your hand.
