Studio 410 is Gayle’s creative haven, where flowing colour, surface and feeling merge through watercolour, acrylics and clay. Her practice draws constant energy from Lake Winnipeg, personal memory, and the layered narratives of her Beaches community. Working across materials allows Gayle to explore shifting moods and ideas while staying anchored to a single artistic voice.
In watercolour, she embraces movement and light, producing airy lake-inspired scenes where transparency and detail quietly coexist. Acrylic painting gives her space to push intensity, contrast and abstraction, translating waves and horizons into expressive forms. When seeking physical engagement, Gayle turns to clay, shaping pieces that encourage touch, presence and contemplation.
