Step into Heather’s world of glass, where sunlight plays across vibrant colour and texture. Specializing in fused glass, she explores ways to create depth and detail using clay and natural materials to form textured casting molds for her work.

Inspired by the forests, shorelines, and wide-open skies of Manitoba’s Interlake region, Heather designs naturalistic pieces that shine with vibrant, everlasting colour. Each artwork balances precision with creativity, where small details quietly make a big impact. Something as simple as matching a driftwood base to a particular piece can make all the difference!

Heather loves sharing the magic behind the process, revealing how sheets of glass, frits, and powders can transform in the kiln into something entirely new. From colourful pieces for home and garden to jewelry featuring detailed screen-printed designs, her work aims to bring a sense of warmth, calm, and nature to everyday spaces.
